AeroMexico has introduced deeply discounted Amigos Fares for travel agents, a customized Web site, and specialized travel agent and customer newsletters to make it easier than ever to promote and book the airline’s flights from 16 U.S. markets and two Canadian cities to more than 45 destinations throughout Mexico.
Frank Galan, Vice President, U.S. Division, AeroMexico, said, “We’re strengthening the resources we provide to travel agents to help them promote the outstanding travel deals we offer and all the exciting destinations AeroMexico serves. Because we value travel agents as our partners in attracting more customers, we also want to reward them for their support and have them experience AeroMexico’s distinctive style of service with our discount Amigos Fares.”
Amigos Fares* Offer Up to 90 Percent Discount to Travel Agents
The airline’s new Amigos Fares provide a 90 percent discount for IATAN-registered travel agents in the U.S. and Canada on non-stop flights to Mexico and 85 percent off one companion airfare on the highest-published “Y class” fares. On direct or connecting flights, travel agents and their companion both receive a 75 percent discount off the same fares. These discounts on round-trip, economy-class fares are offered in all U.S. and Canadian markets on AeroMexico flights to destinations throughout Mexico. Tickets must be purchased between now and December 10, 2009, and travel must be completed by December 10, 2009. Taxes, fuel surcharges and ticketing fees are not included, and *certain other travel restrictions apply.
Resource-Rich Web Site Designed Expressly for Travel Agents
U.S. and Canadian travel agents will also benefit from the airline’s new Web site, www.aeromexicotrade.com, which has been designed expressly to serve the needs of the travel trade industry. The site presents an extensive range of tools and information about agent services, group travel, traveler services, travel guides and airline products, all conveniently organized for easy navigation. AeroMexico’s new co-branded Visa signature card, the new Terminal 2 at Mexico City International Airport and special hotel, airfare and rental car packages are also featured in special promotional boxes on the site’s home page.
AeroMexico and CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Offer Outstanding Package
Featured on the new Web site as a special thank-you to the airline’s valued travel agent partners is a remarkable vacation package with outstanding savings from AeroMexico and the CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta. In addition to the special 75 percent discount Amigos Fares, each travel agent and one companion can save up to 45 percent on their hotel room charge at this property, which has been ranked as one of the “100 Best Hotels” in the world, according to Conde Nast Traveler. The recently renovated CasMagna Mariott Puero Vallarta Resort & Spa promises a peaceful paradise experience in the heart of the Mexican Riviera.
Participants will be able to soak up some sun on a picture-postcard beach, nestled between the majestic Sierra Madre mountains and glistening Banderas Bay. Sea turtles and humpback whales will provide some natural entertainment and guests will also enjoy signature spa services, spectacular golf courses and dining al fresco by the ocean at sunset. Rates start at $105 USD and reservations for three or more nights earn a resort credit of $75 to $100 for spa services, food and beverages. The offer is valid May 1 – October 31, 2009, using promo code TVL online (garden view: TVAG; ocean view: TVAM) at the travel agents Web site: http://www.aeromexicotrade.com.
Newsletters Update Travel Agents, Club Premier Members & Other Customers
AeroMexico has also introduced three specialized newsletters: the Agency Central newsletter for travel agents, AeroMexico Club Premier eNewsletter for frequent flyer club members and the AeroMexico Escapes newsletter for all customers.
The bi-monthly Agency Central newsletter makes it easier to find the most updated information in one place and features special offers for selling AeroMexico flights; special rates for travel agent trips, including the Amigo Fares; hotel offers for customers with special travel agent commissions; and other AeroMexico products, news and policy changes. Travel agents can sign up to receive this electronic newsletter through the new Web site, http://www.aeromexicotrade.com.
AeroMexico’s monthly Club Premier eNewsletter for feature flyer program members highlights opportunities to earn extra miles, such as with the airline’s new co-branded AeroMexico Visa card, where every dollar spent earns one mileage credit; hotel, car rental and other partner offers that also earn extra miles; special reduced mileage travel opportunities; and information on Club Premier benefits, such as the Family Club Premier, which allows a designated family member to earn bonus miles when another family member travels. This monthly electronic newsletter is being sent automatically to all Club Premier members, beginning in April.
For valued customers in the U.S. and Canada, the weekly AeroMexico Escapes newsletter features the airline’s best fares to Mexico and some of the world’s most extraordinary cities, such as Buenos Aires, Sao Paulo, Madrid and Tokyo, through the airline’s hub at Mexico City International Airport. Information is also included on products such as AeroPass, which allows passengers to purchase tickets in bulk and save on a family vacation; special offers from hotel and car rental partners; AeroMexico Vacations packages; and the airline’s customer-friendly service policies, such as no charge on each passenger’s first checked bag. Customers can sign up to receive AeroMexico Escapes every week at: http://pages.exacttarget.com/page.aspx?QS=c76003443ff9837d779aea986ba14f5a5354d6417c23d363.
