Welcome to the premier issue of International Yacht Vacations & Charters (YV&C) magazine (www.yachtchartersmagazine.com), the first and only lifestyle magazine dedicated to yacht vacations.
The launch of YV&C marks a milestone in global private yacht vacation markets as we bring this relatively little-known vacation alternative to the masses. We believe that YV&C will accomplish its mission as we help travelers discover a whole new realm of vacation experiences throughout the world. Our readers who are experienced charter travelers will not want to miss a single issue either, as we give them the low-down on popular (and also unknown) destinations, itineraries, ports, and people.
International Yacht Vacations & Charters is brought to you by an experienced magazine publishing team, with the contributions and direction of the best advisory board any yachting magazine could dream of. Our International Advisory Board members are among the most-respected professionals in their field (see details on facing page). YV & C's passionate staff has the expertise of the publishing company credited with - among many other professional achievements - being named by Inc 500, for three years in a row, as the fastest-growing magazine publisher in America.
We couldn't have been happier with the wide participation and support we've received since we announced YV&C at the Ft. Lauderdale Boat Show in October. In the pages of International Yacht Vacations & Charters, you will find not only engaging stories written by some of the most prominent writers and photojournalists in the yachting world, but also messages from all of the leading companies in the industry who are among the most qualified to make your next charter vacation the experience of a lifetime.
Often misunderstood, a yacht charter vacation does not necessarily have to be an expensive and unattainable vacation dream, but in reality can be affordable. It's true that there is no limit to the luxury and indulgence available on a wide variety of yachts available for charter today. On the other hand, in an endless spectrum of choices, some of the most unforgettable experiences you will have on board a charter yacht may surprisingly cost less than your last family trip to Disney World. In the pages of YV&C, we will explore them all, from bareboat charters to the most elaborate megayachts.
With every issue of International Yacht Vacations & Charters, you will also find a copy of our resource CD/DVD. Our upcoming issues will include video tours, and excerpts from our Superyacht Television (www.SuperyachtTelevision.com) and Superyacht Radio (www.SuperyachtRadio.com) programs.
Please make sure to take advantage of our charter subscription offer included in this issue and don't miss your chance to win a $12,000, five-star SeaDream yacht voyage for two. You will find details on SeaDream Yacht Club in this issue as well.
As you read our premier issue, and follow through on arranging your dream trips, please let us know what you find most useful and what you would like to see in future issues. And most important, tell us about your favorite yacht charter vacations. We are here to serve you!

Dear Fuat, We met at Genoa and I remember well your welcoming disposition on those very rainy days there. Congratulations on your premier issue. This is a truly impressive e-mag and you can well be proud of it. As we move into the US market we will certainly be looking to resources such as your publications for our marketing efforts. It''s still a bit early for our strategy to extend to the US, but it will come soon. I will also have some supporting news editorial which may interest you for publication in the winter.. Congratulations again and best regards, Peter Custer |
